A Fire burns Fuel, resulting in damage and possibly complete destruction of the Fuel. A fire that started on Saturday afternoon, the High Glade Fire - located on the Mendocino National Forest's Upper Lake Ranger District - continued to burn actively on Sunday. Since the fire is near a road and also on part of the Appalachian Trail, the Forest Service said a main concern is the safety of the public.
