This frame concerns Stock, a purchasable and sellable asset representing a Shareholder's share in a company (the Issuer). Stock entitles the Shareholder to profits of the Issuer company, as determined by the governing board of the Issuer company. LUs in this frame can denote the type of capital stock investment into a business (common or preferred) or the investment itself. Common stock is also known as ordinary stock or voting stock.
